Indi-China Relation and Modi

  • In our engagement with China, as Xi and I agreed, we sought to tap vast area of commercial activities in the relationship. I see development of India and China as an unprecedented opportunity for our two countries and the world.
  • At the same time, it is not unnatural for two large neighbouring partners to have differences. Both our countries need to show sensitivity and respect for each others core concerns and interests.
  • After 1962 war, India-China relation is like Tom and Jerry, not too hard and not too smooth. You have to keep alive other for your own existence.
  • As on today, both countries needs each other for business. China biggest and cheapest producer, India biggest and cheapest consumer. On the same time China giving support to Pakistan and Pakistan giving support to Terrorists. China mostly Chinese Media believes India as an inferior country. But now time has changed and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shorten the Gap of inferior complexity on Indian side with his outstanding Foreign policy and some initiatives like Make In India. Now china is in worry about its image and place in the world. Chinese Media is not ready to accept second place after India for growth rate as well as power in Asia.
  • World has accepted power of India and Modi. US, EU and other most powerful nations like Saudi has taken close move towards India now.
  • On occasion of inauguration of Riasina Dialogues Modi clearly shows his confidence and told about Indo-China relation that differences between two large and powerful nations is natural things. He mentioned and placed India as a equal of China, he clearly informed China that they have to respect on core concerns and interests of India, they have to show their sensitivity.
